Gina Kay Brown

Mrs. Gina Kay Brown, 43, of Ed King Rd., Blairsville, Ga., died Friday, April 18, 2008 at her home.

Mrs. Brown was born Dec. 12, 1964 in Union County, Ga., the daughter of Betty Jean Foster Smith and the late Herbert (Hadacol) Claude Smith. Gina was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Smith in 2006. Mrs. Brown was a member of New Union Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Brown is her loving and devoted husband, Robby Brown of Blairsville; son, Brandon Brown of Blairsville; mother, Betty Jean Smith of Blairsville; cousins, aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Harrison Bradley, Rev. Brent Chatham and Rev. Larry Shope officiating. Special music was presented by the New Union Church Choir. Pallbearers were Eric Wood, Eddie Garrett, Marty Payne, Jeff Deaver, Tim Odom, Eddie Tanner, Darren Reynolds and Dwaine Brackett. Interment followed in the New Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
