Hayesville House Receives Painting from Jo Wainwright Hayesville House was visited by a special lady April 15. Jo Wainwright shared her special talents with the residents of Hayesville House. She painted the new garden planter for the residents to enjoy. The planter now has carrots, tomatoes, lettuce and other garden vegetables for enjoyment. Ms. Wainwright has donated one of her paintings to the Hayesville House. Please come by and register to win the painting. The winner will be drawn May 1 at the Health Fair; you do not have to be present to win. Hayesville House is located at 480 Old 64 West, Hayesville, N.C. More about Jo Wainwright - Jo was captured by the beauty of the mountains and moved from Raleigh, with her daughter, this year to Little Switzerland. Jo is a graduate of the University of West Virginia and has received various awards celebrating the diverse range of her watercolors. She not only expresses her art through landscapes and scenes but also specializes in portraits. Many of which have been commissioned by Belks, N.C. Board of Realtors, N.C. Epilepsy Foundation, The Autism Society and United Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Jo's works also hang in private and corporate collections throughout the southeast and Europe.
