Union General Hospital Auxiliary at North District Conference

On April 10, six members of the Union General Hospital Auxiliary attended the Spring North District Conference held at the First Baptist Church in Calhoun, Ga., and hosted by the Gordon Hospital Auxiliary. Final plans for the Annual Conference on Auxilians & Volunteers to be held in Savannah in October were discussed. Also, mentioned were the National Health Care Options and the Elizabeth Wilmont Bull scholarship funds and application procedure.

Special guests attending were our State President, Betty Brown; President Elect, Elizabeth Nevil; and Annual Conference Chairperson, Ann Hauerland, 1st Vice President. Our guest speaker, Mitch Ralston, former member of the Georgia State Patrol and now candidate for Gordon County Sheriff related some helpful tips to safeguard ourselves and our personal identity from theft. A delicious luncheon was served, door prizes, an enjoyable time was had by the attendees.
