Celebrate National Dance Week

National Dance Week is dedicated to honoring all dancers, choreographers, teachers, students and their art. NDW representatives invite all supporters to join in their efforts to celebrate their appreciation for the dance arts as they continue on the quest for raising the public consciousness to the inherent benefits of dance.

Brasstown Dance Center will celebrate National Dance Week at Towns County Schools on Tuesday, April 29th as they entertain the elementary students with ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Students from Towns, Union, and Clay counties will perform selected numbers from their spring show, ©¯In the Grandstands.©, Everyone is invited to the full show on Sunday, May 11 at 3pm in the Young Harris College Auditorium. The show is a celebration of athletics and sport and a tribute to all the people who fill the grandstands of our lives.

Join the celebration of dance by renting a dance movie, watching a dance show, or going dancing yourself! Dance is a celebration of life that all can enjoy!
