Callie Lou Corn

Callie Lou Corn of Blairsville, Ga., died April 10, 2008 in Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Corn was born January 28, 1914, in Union County, Ga., the daughter of the late Frank H. Spiva and the late Ada Gertrude Ledford. She was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Alexander Corn in 1981. Mrs. Corn was member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Blairsville Ga.

Surviving Mrs. Corn are daughter Ella Marie Roberson of Dalonega, Ga., and sister Jessie L. Erwin of Blairsville.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 3

p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy

Tanner officiating.

Pallbearers were Benny

Erwin, Dale Hamby,

Keith Ledford, Jimmy

Alexander. Interment followed in the Shady Grove Methodist Church

Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,

memorials may be made to Union County Nursing Home Activity Department.
