Swett steps out of race

Following a three-month grueling campaign schedule, Chris Swett has decided to step out of the political race following the resignation of his Campaign Coordinator, Sam Fullerton. Chris commented on the withdrawl, "Sam has a new business called Power Impact Promotions, where he'll be working with church groups to increase membership. He no longer has the time to spend on the campaign and I can't continue without him, so critical was his support. As for me, I'm completely exhausted and my family hardly gets to see me anymore. My mother increasingly needs me to care for her and I simply won't be able to do that on the campaign trail or in office. This has necessarily been a very difficult decision, but I believe it's the right one. I want to thank all my staff for their hard work, especially Sam, and I will move on and find other ways to continue to serve the community."
