Schaefer withdraws name from race

It is with mixed emotions that Senator Nancy Schaefer withdraws her name from the 10th District Congressional race.

Her husband, Bruce, will have major surgery the end of April, and as much as they were both looking forward to the campaign, Nancy has been aware following several doctor's visits, that to move forward with an active campaign at this critical time is unthinkable. Senator Schaefer will continue to represent the 50th Senatorial District until the end of 2008.
