Clarence Newton of Hiawassee, Georgia will read selection of his poetry at Phillips and Lloyd Bookstore in Hayesville,North Carolina on April 23, at 10:30 am. Clarence's poetry is known and enjoyed by those living in this area. His poetry often has a tongue in cheek twist about it. It is impossible not to laugh when he reaches the punch line of his humorous pieces. The floor will also be open for anyone who would like to read a selection of their own poetry.
