Free trails educational workshop

Blairsville, Georgia- The Forest Service is planning a FREE trails educational workshop for those interested in planning, maintaining and constructing sustainable trails. The one day training session is open to all ages and will focus on the philosophy and process of building and maintaining sustainable, high quality trails for hikers, mountain bicyclists, and equestrians. This is a great opportunity for individuals and groups interested in learning about sustainable trail design and maintaining public trail systems.

The one day indoor event is planned for Saturday April 12, 2008, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The workshop will be held at the U.S. Forest Service Supervisor's Office, 1755 Cleveland Highway, Gainesville, GA 30501. Participants should bring a sack lunch. All other materials will be provided.
