T.U.L.I.P. Spelling Bee

This year's annual T.U.L.I.P. Spelling Bee was held last week at the Haralson Memorial Civic Center. Amy Gibby-Rosser was this year's Queen Bee. Barbara Williams (above right) President of T.U.L.I.P., served as the pronouncer. Team #4, "Spellbinding," from the Mountain Education Center, took the First Place Trophy (left) again this year. The Second Place team was Team #5, the Marine Corp League. This event is held each year as a fundraiser for T.U.L.I.P., which stands for Towns-Union Literacy Instills Pride.
