2008 Election Kick-Off Banquet

The Democratic Ninth Congressional District and host Gilmer County Democratic Party announce a 2008 Election Kick-Off Banquet to be held Saturday, March 29. A wine reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at the Cohutta Lodge on Fort Mountain. Participating will be District Eight Representative, Charles Jenkins, Blairsville, former Georgia State Senator, Carol Jackson, Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin, Jason Carter, found of Democrats Work, and Democratic Party of Georgia Chair, Ms. Jane Kidd. Also included are Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate and U.S. Congress.
