Carolina Crossmen to sing at Day of Grace

The Carolina Crossmen from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina travel across the eastern United States to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to encourage the Christian. The goal of the Carolina Crossmen is not to draw attention to themselves but to lead people in worship of the Savior who died for all. After you've attended a Carolina Crossmen concert, they hope you have laughed, worshiped, and been drawn closer to the Lord.

The style of the Carolina Crossmen has been described as an 'old Inspiration or Kingsmen style.' In other words, they have an old-timey Southern Gospel quartet sound. The group sings many original songs by Carroll Blanton and other local writers such as Ila Knight, but they also love the old songs, as you will be able to tell after listening to their recordings. While they are continually searching for new songs, they are also very selective, insisting that songs be biblically based with a clear Gospel message.

The latest Carolina Crossmen project, Vintage, consists of classic standards in Southern Gospel music. This project was favorably reviewed by Jerry Kirksey of The Singing News magazine. These songs have been loved by many throughout the years and have stood the test of time. Vintage is the first Carolina Crossmen recording to be on Gideon Records of Regal Music Group from Fletcher, North Carolina. These songs were a joy to record and are a joy to sing each time they take the stage. The Carolina Crossmen were the subject of a feature article in the August 2004 issue of The Singing News magazine. This quartet has had the opportunity to sing on the same stage as some of the industry's most well-known and respected groups such as the Inspirations, the Florida Boys, the Primitive Quartet, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and many others.
