Grace Presbyterian Church Schedules Mission Conference

The 2008 Missions Conference will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church, P.C.A., starting Wed., March 5, with a church-wide chili supper at 6:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., the worship service will feature a field report by Mike Worthy (Kyrgystan Missions,) and preaching by Al Shannon (Wycliffe Bible Translators and Runa Simi.)

Thursday, March 6, will feature 7:00 p.m. home meetings with Johan van der Westhuizen (Mission To The World {MTW}) at one home and Mike & Barbara Worthy (Kyrgystan Missions) at another.

Friday, March 7, will include a Noon ladies luncheon in the fellowship hall with a message by Sue Harris (MTW.) At 7:00 p.m., the evening worship service will include a field report from Johan van der Westhuizen (MTW) and preaching by Ron Shaw (MTW.)

Saturday, March 8, will begin with a men's breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall, with a message by Ron Shaw (MTW.)

Teens will celebrate Missions Week with a Saturday pizza party at the home of Dr. Keith Matthews at 6:00 p.m. Drew Grubbs (Youth For Christ) will deliver a message.

6:00 p.m., Saturday, is also the time for pot-luck dinners at two homes followed by home meetings featuring Johan van der Westhuizen (Mission To The World) and Dave Archibald (Wycliffe Bible Translators.)

The regular Sunday schedule will provide for a 9:30 a.m. adult and jr/senior high combined Sunday School class with a field report by Dave Archibald (Wycliffe Bible Translators.) First grade through sixth grade Sunday School classes will hear from Kathy Meir (HCJB Radio.)

Sunday morning worship at 10:45 a.m. will include a morning message by Ron Shaw (MTW).
