Union County Prayer Group Standing Firm

There are many people faithfully covering Union County in prayer, individually and in groups. One such group began meeting in August, 2007 and continues to gather each Monday in the Bank of Blairsville community room from 8:15 - 9:00 a.m., with people dropping in as their schedules allow. We firmly believe God has called us to prayer and that He is active in our community. (We do not meet when schools are closed.)

Our set purpose is to pray for:

- All Union County schools- for students, teachers and administrators in public, private and home schools

- For the strengthening of families

- For the churches in our community and their leadership

- For those in authority on the local, state and federal levels

Our Biblical focus come from Lamentations 2:19; I Timothy 2: 1-6 and 2 Chronicles 7: 13-15
