Philco Radio Players to recreate World War II era radio show

The Philco Radio Players will present a recreation of a World War II era radio show in the Glenn Auditorium of Young Harris College on March 01, 2008 at 7 p.m. Seating is General Admission and tickets are only $10.

The show will feature songs, news, gossip, and classic radio shows of the era including 'Fibber McGee & Molly', 'The Shadow', 'The Bickersons' and 'Baby Snooks'. The performance will feature a live Foley table, live keyboard player, and performers including Brian Phillips, Bill Wilson, Danita Charles, John Babcock, and noted jazz singer, Gwen Hughes. The show is great fun for the entire family!

Philco Radio Players has been entertaining audiences across the southeast for nearly 10 years! Presenting shows from radio's earliest days to recreations of modern radio dramas, the Philco Radio Players have entertained thousands of radio lovers of all ages. Every show is a tasteful combination of humor, drama, song and classic radio commercials!

Glenn Auditorium at Young Harris College is a premiere performance space in the North Carolina/North Georgia area and is the performance space for Theatre Young Harris, and the Young Harris College ensembles.
