UCB sponsors 12th Annual Blue Ridge Writer's Conference

The 12th annual Blue Ridge Writer's Conference is scheduled to be held at North Georgia Technical College on March 28 and 29. Keynote speaker for the 2008 conference will be bestselling novelist, Joshilyn Jackson. Other speakers will include: Kathleen Craft Boehmig, southern mem- oir-style essayist; Michael Buchanan and Diane Lang, writing as Lang Buchanan; Lynn Cullen, author of I Am Rembrandt's Daughter; Steven Harvey, author of Bound for Shady Grove; Ginny Hendry, winner of the Royal Palm Literary Award; Joan Hetzler, host of a radio show for writers in Chattanooga, TN; Susan Mary Malone, author of the novel By the Book; Brian Seidman, managing editor of New South Books in Montgomery, AL; Diane Shore winner of the 2004 Children's Choice Award; James Smith, associate editor of Southern Poetry Review and associate professor of Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah,
