Earl B. Deaver
Deaver, Jimmie and Gary Hill, Joe and Jim Deaver, Mac Sullivan, Carolyn Hughes, Danny Deaver and Barbara Garrett; many

Mr. Earl B. Deaver, 92, of Nottley Woods W., Blairsville, Ga., died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 in the Union County Nursing Home following a brief illness.

Mr. Deaver was born March 6, 1915 in Union County, the son of the late Soloman Alfred Deaver and the late Callie Chastain Deaver. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Earl was well known from his many years of employment at Anderson's Dry Goods in Hiawassee, Ga., and also at Hill- Lance Drug Store in Blairsville. Earl was a member of Ivy Log Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Deaver are sister in- law, Charlsie Deaver, nieces and nephews, Howard, Wendell and Roland Rich, Jack Deaver, Doris Bird, Charlene Sullivan, Peggy Henson, Jesse other relatives and friends

also survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008 at 2 p.m.

chapel with the Rev. Jerry Karnes and Rev. Tony Black officiating. A eulogy was given by Gary Hill. Special music was presented by Martha Cone and Patsy Davenport. Pallbearers were Travis Hill, Jim Elliott, James Bridges, Jim Twist, Jack Lance and Lester Deaver. Interment followed in the Ivy Log Baptist Church Cemetery.
