Cooking with Barbara
Low Country Cookies

I watch the Food Network quite often. I am interested in new recipes and the way they do things. Most of their recipes are o.k. but not always. When I have a failure or one that is not so good, my son says," Ha! Another Food Network failure!" Some of the newer recipes just don't sit well with him, he likes the food he grew up.

This recipe is from Paula Deen who lives in Savannah, one of my favorite places to visit. There is so much to see there and the food is wonderful. Paula Deen has a wonderful restaurant there too, and people flock to it. While in Savannah enjoyed walking along the river front, and all the wonderful places to eat. If you haven't been it's a Must see!
