Benefit fundraiser for Ken Young

Blairsville resident, Ken Young, recently had open-heart surgery to replace a heart valve. Ken had this life-saving surgery with NO INSURANCE ATALL, NOT EVEN MEDICARE!! This means that everything will have to be paid "out of pocket". Ken and his wife, Elaine, have always given to our community, and now, we all want to show our appreciation by helping in this time of need!!

There will be an auction, cake walks, and refreshments. There will also be drawings held for tickets sold on certain items. Many fine musicians and singers will be donating their time and talents with a variety of music styles. So, this will be a fun time, along with helping in a very worthy cause. Any & all donations will be greatly appreciated!!

Bank accounts have been set up at both the Appalachian Community Bank, and the United Community Bank. Just ask the teller to deposit the money in the "Ken Young Fund Raiser" account.
