Larry Garrett speaks to Union Auxiliary
At their February 1st meeting, the Union General Hospital Auxiliary had as their guest speaker, Mr. Larry Garrett, who was filling in for Commissioner Lamar Paris. Mr. Paris was called out of town to attend a funeral. The group was pleased with the SPLOST information shared with them by Mr. Garrett and assisting him was Pam Peugh with a powerpoint presentation on the subject. The Hospital Auxiliary holds their meetings on the first Friday of each month, 12:30 p.m., in the Activities Room of the Union County Nursing Home. Fifty-two members attended plus a number of visitors.
