Ruby Ellis

Mrs. Ruby Ellis, 98, of Twin Mtn. Rd., Hiawassee, Ga., formerly of Tampa, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, in the Chatuge Regional Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Ellis was born July 17, 1909, in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was the daughter of the late Charles Andrew Dansby and the late Amanda Evelyn Caruthers Dansby. Mrs. Ellis loved to raise orchids and was a charter member of The Tampa Orchid Club. She was a member of the Tampa Baptist Church, since 1960, and worked in the nursery for over twenty years.

Surviving Mrs. Ellis are her daughter and son-in-law, Bettie Jean (B.J.) Brandt, and her husband, John W. Sundquist of Hiawassee; many other relatives

and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.,

Friday, Feb 1, 2008, at the Tampa Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at

the First Baptist Church of Dover Cemetery, Dover, Fla. In lieu of flowers, if

you wish, the family requests

that memorials may be made to your favorite charity in Mrs. Ellis' memory.
