Lank Cantrell

Mr. Lank Cantrell, 99, of Ball Ground, Ga., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Funeral services were held January 21 from the Four Mile Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Parker and the Rev. Steve Chadwick officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Cantrell was a member of Four Mile Baptist Church and was retired from the State of Georgia Highway Department.

Survivors include his sons: Harvey Cantrell of Ball Ground, Arvil Cantrell of Ball Ground, Jerry Cantrell of Marble Hill, Ga., Max Cantrell of Ball Ground and Ricky Cantrell of Jasper, Ga. Daughters: Carrie Edwards of Ball Ground, Betty Stancil of Canton, Ga., and Retha Reddin of Marble Hill, Ga. Brother, Piror Cantrell of Blairsville, Ga., 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren also survive.
