Dr. Rosenthal to speak at Unity Church

On January 27, Dr. Sheri Rosenthal, a former podiatric surgeon who ran the surgical residency program at Northside Hospital in Florida, will be the guest speaker at Unity Church of the Mountains. Following the 10:30 a.m. service, she will conduct a workshop on don Miguel Ruiz's book, "The Four Agreements." The workshop will start at 1:00 p.m. and is on a love offering bases. Everyone is invited to attend both the service and the workshop. The Church is located at 627 Gainesville Highway, Suite F, Blairsville.

Approximately a decade ago, Dr. Rosenthal went through a challenging time in her life. When she received a copy of don Miguel Ruiz's book, "The Four Agreements," she went on a profound spiritual journey to the sacred site of Teotihuacan, hoping to solve her personal problems. While there, she realized that she needed to change what she believed about herself and the world- in essence, the inside rather than the outside world. Therefore, she came back home, sold her medical practice, and started her nine-year apprenticeship under don Miguel Ruiz, eventually becoming a Master Toltec Teacher. Serving as the Executive Director of Sixth Sun Foundation, a Toltec non-profit corporation from 2000-2002, she designed and ran don Miguel Ruiz's spiritual journeys and served as a co-teacher with him at his workshops. The author of three books, "WITH Forgiveness- Are You Ready?", "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Toltec Wisdom," and "Banish Mind Spam: Four Steps for Deprogramming Self-Limiting and Self- Sabotaging B beliefs", she currently owns Journeys of the Spirit, a tour company that specializes in adventures that open the heart and heals the mind.
