TCF World Wide Candle Lighting

The Compassionate Friends North Georgia Mountain Chapter held its first World Wide Candle Lighting at the Historical Court House on December 9 from 7-8pm. The candle lighting is held every year on the second Sunday in December at 7pm in each time zone making A ring of light around the world for one hour. This ring of light is a reminder that our children's "light will always shine". The Compassionate Friends is a self-help support group for bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents that have suffered the death of a child at any age and from any cause. If you or someone you know has suffered the death of a child please join us at our monthly meetings held at the Blairsville Library every Forth Thursday of the month from 7:30-9pm we can help you deal with your grief because we have been there and can understand your pain.
