Michelle Marie Anselmo

Mrs. Michelle Marie Anselmo, 61, of Jones Gap Rd., Hiawassee, Ga., died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 in the Harris Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Anselmo was born Aug. 22, 1946 in New York City, N.Y., the daughter of the late Charles Frank Farar and the late Michelle Irene Coker Farar. She was preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Beavers and Mary Jo Shariff. Mrs. Anselmo was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Anselmo are sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Michelle Anselmo of Hiawassee, Anthony and Cathy Beavers of Maine; brother and sister in-law, Rev. Glenn and Martha Tanner of Blairsville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Fisher of Hiawassee, Charlotte and Roy Almond of Murphy, Shirley Helms of Burlington, N.C., Billie Jo Comb, Brenda and Jerry Shepherd,

Donna Whicker, all of Graham, N.C.; grandchildren,

Christopher

Beavers, Brandon and Kristyn Anselmo; several

nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service

was held Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Hoyt Brown officiating. Special music was presented by Kristyn Anselmo and Dino Cook. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Feed the Children Foundation in Mrs. Anselmo's memory.
