Students from the AE21 high school program at Murphy Adventist Christian School participated in the health fair MOOG Industry provided for its employees. The participants were provided blood pressure and cholesterol checks; they were also offered stop smoking clinics, as well as other health related activities. Neck and shoulder massages were available.
The AE21 students provided computer support for the Health Age Assessments. The employees filled out simple forms that were inputted into a computer, and then the results were shared with them on how they could improve their health. The AE21 students manned the computers, inputting the items from the questionnaire. In 1 1/2 hours approximately 100 questionnaires were completed.
