The Brasstown Bald chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Grinds-N-Glazes, 233 Hwy. 515, Hillcrest Shopping Center, in Blairsville at 11:45 a.m. (Next meeting is Jan 8) All current and retired federal employees, their spouses or survivors, are welcome at these meetings.
NARFE was founded in 1921 with the mission of protecting the rights and benefits of America's active and retired federal workers. Congress is about to convene the second half of the 110th session and it will take the effort of all members to get our representative in Washington to move NARFE supported legislation out of committees and on to the floor for an up or down vote.
For more information about NARFE supported legislation contact George at 706-745- 7286 or Larry at 706-745-4092 or email at larjon@brmemc.net.
