Shirley Louise Steinc

Mrs. Shirley Louise Steinc, 63, of Floyd Lane, Blairsville, Ga., formerly of Lake Wales, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Steinc was born May 28, 1944 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Ray Hicks and the late Ola Orr Hicks. Mrs. Steinc was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Steinc is her loving husband of 37 years, Frank Steinc of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Ken Wood of Blairsville; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Nicole Steinc of Lake Wales; brother, Carl Hicks of

Roechester, Mich.; sisters, Joyce Alongie of Shelby, Mich., Faye Holts of Attica, Mich.; grandchildren, Ashley and Katie Wood of Blairsville; many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mountain Shelter in Mrs. Steinc's memory.
