'Our School Bank' is under way

United Community Bank - Union County is pleased to announce the members of its 2007-2008 'Our School Bank' Committee. The committee, composed of 5th graders from Union County Elementary School, will meet once a month to do a variety of banking-related projects. At yearend, United Community Bank will host an ice cream party for all of the school bank workers and committee members.

The committee met for the first time on November 14th and busied themselves by putting together crafts and making posters for the upcoming school bank week.

"In the few years that I have been working with 'Our School Bank' committees, I have never had this many kids involved," says Sharon Arnold of the United Community Bank - Union County Marketing Department. "I am really looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled school year."
