Biased judges scar children, wound fathers

It is common knowledge that fathers are discriminated against when it comes to child custody. The question is why? Why would attorneys and judges be so bold with obvious malfeasance? Do they really believe children don't need fathers? Are they okay with serious gender bias? Why would they seek to defy the Constitution, The Supreme Court, and the best interests of children? Why is the focus of "child support" only financial? Why would the government of the United States allow such a tyrannical corruption so contradictory to the U.S. Constitution? Do they really believe fathers are second-class citizens who deserve fewer rights? To answer these questions we must, as usual, follow the money.

Child custody generates huge revenues for lawyers, who often create as much animosity between the parents as possible. Fathers are forced to go back to court to get rights that should have never been taken away in the first place. More court time, puts more money in the attorneys' and judges' pockets. This generates kickbacks from the federal government to support the judicial system, creating a conflict of interest. It is unconstitutional for one branch of the government to make payments to another. This goes against the checks and balances created by our founding fathers to prevent corruption.

The Constitution and the Supreme Court are higher laws than money and they support that "parental rights can NOT be limited without 'clear and convincing evidence' that a parent is UNFIT." The Supreme Court also re-affirmed, "the interest of parents in the care, custody, and control of their children...is perhaps the oldest of the fundamental liberty interests recognized by this court."

Therefore, we ask our public servants, "Is money a fair exchange for the best interest of children?" Judges are ruling based on tradition, local custom, and gender bias. They willfully refuse to rule on reality, facts, evidence, science or even the law. According to Bruce Eden, Civil Rights Director of DADS (Dads Against Discrimination), "Statistics show women file for divorce first in 80% of all cases. Those same studies show that women get custody of the children in over 90% of custody cases. Where can you find a situation in business, life, gambling, Ebola virus deaths, or anywhere else where the outcome is statistically so high and guaranteed for one gender?"

Nothing supports the "best interest" of children being served in the primary custody of the mother. Quite the contrary. According to Fathers and Families, "Research studies show that children pine for their lost fathers, and that children without fathers actively involved in their lives have much higher rates of depression, suicide, violence, gang involvement, criminal behavior, educational failure, drug and alcohol abuse and teenage pregnancy."

Sole custody, and mother as primary caretaker (which is the same as sole parent) has been proven the absolute WORST arrangement for children. According to Dr. Warren Farrell, who has studied children for 20 years: "Whenever it is possible, both parents should share parenting as equally as possible - 50/50 is ideal."

In a 1996 study by Elliott Smith of Cornell University he concluded that, "children of single parents had a 77 percent greater risk of being harmed by physical abuse." In an article run November 18, 2007, titled "Abuse Risk Higher in Nontraditional Families" David Crary of The Associated Press, citing studies, states, "In each case, as in many others every year, the alleged or convicted perpetrator had been the boyfriend of the child's mother - men thrust into father-like roles which they tragically failed to embrace." According to a study by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) in 1989-1998, of the 3,312 infant homicides, 89% of the known perpetrators were women, usually the mother. They expect there are more labeled under SIDS.

Of course, all mothers are not bad, any more than all fathers are bad. It proves the point that nothing supports this bias and abuse against fathers, except greed. But, it gets worse...

Children are not the only victims who die from this injustice. Over 300 fathers commit suicide every month in the U.S. alone and over 1,500 worldwide (7 a day in Canada) as a result of the hopelessness given to them through family court. The attorney gets paid, the judge gets paid, the state gets funding, the mother gains control and finances, the child loses a father, and the father is left like a raped woman in the back alley of the courthouse.

Yes, "raped" is a strong word, but the power mothers use over fathers is the same abusive pattern as a man using his physical power over a woman. Sexual rape is not about sex and parental rape in not about parenting - they are both about control. (Note: Parental rape is repeated over and over again, usually everyday for the rest of the father's life.) The results are the same. The father is betrayed and embarrassed by the courts, his innermost being is violated by being stripped of his fatherhood, the shame of not being able to protect his flesh and blood while strange men come and go, lives with him every day. All this suffering because he loves his child(ren). This subversion of our fundamentally protected constitutional rights to our children and families are acts of treason against the same Constitution that judges, lawyers, politicians and other government officials involved in this destruction of the family took an oath to uphold and support.

Stop the destruction of families, vote for legislators and judges who favor 50/50 custody, impeach bias judges, don't let your attorneys perpetuate the stress on your families, finances, and children, and educate yourself.
