Christopher Lee Parker

Mr. Christopher Lee Parker, 30, of Plott Town Rd., Blairsville, Ga., formerly of Covington, Ga., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 in the St. Josephs Hospital following an extended illness.

Mr. Parker was born March 3, 1977 in Covington, Ga., the son of Ed Parker and Mary Moody Parker. Christopher loved computers and loved fishing. He loved his pet dog Tricky. He was a loving and caring to his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him. Christopher was of the Christian faith.

Surviving Mr. Parker is his father and mother, Ed and Mary Parker of Blairsville; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Rev. Wade Freeman of Covington, Ga.;

brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Grace Parker III of Peachtree City, Ga., uncle and aunt, Billy and Shirley Moody of Covington; nieces and nephews, Amber and Ashley Freeman, Joshua Parker, Matthew Campbell, Sarah and Dani Parker; several cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Covington, Ga., with the Rev.Wade Freeman officiating. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may made to the Spina Bifida Organization in Christopher's memory.
