Alma Inez Cochran
Mrs. Cochran was born Sept. 13, 1924 in Sycamore, Ga., the daughter of the late Benjamin Logan and the late Mary Craig Logan. She was a loving and caring wife, mother,grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Willard Bearden. Mrs. Cochran was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Cochran is her loving husband of 66 years, Clarence W. Cochran of Blairsville; daughters and son-inlaw, Linda Dyer of Blairsville, Debbie and Trance King of Blairsville; brother and sister-inlaw, Herman and Genevieve Bearden of Cartersville, Ga.; sisters, Ailine Cline and Celia Bearden Ross both of Cartersville; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Zebulon Baptist Church with Dr. Don Pruitt officiating. Special music was presented by David and Bret Chatham and Pat McCall. Pallbearers were Jason Rich, Travis Rich, Dakota Collins, Greg Dyer, Larry Rich and Bret Chatham. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Coker, Welchel Garrett, Ronnie Duncan, David Chatham, Leonard Sosebee and Gene Sprayberry. Interment followed in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery.Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of the arrangements.
