Grace Whitehouse

Mrs. Grace Whitehouse, 82, of Whitehouse Drive, Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Whitehouse was born April 23, 1925 in Orchelle, NY., the daughter of the late Anton Heckel and the late Maude Sigfreid Heckel. Grace loved decorating her home and doing crafts and needlework. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Whitehouse in 1981 and by a brother, Jack Heckel. Mrs. Whitehouse was a member of

the First Baptist Church of Blairsville.

Surviving Mrs. Whitehouse are daughter and son-in-law, Patti Ann (Whitehouse) and her husband David Small of Blairsville; brother, Raymond Heckel of Blairsville; many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bethal Buchanan officiating.
