Ruthie Eulene Stinton

Mrs. Ruthie Eulene Stinton, age 68, of Sawmill Road, Blairsville passed away on Friday, November 9, 2007 in the Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Stinton was born on Dec.4, 1938 in Escambia County, Fla., the daughter of the late Len Beasley and the late Katie Hanks Beasley. Mrs. Stinton attended Blairsville Church of God.

Surviving Mrs. Stinton are her loving husband of fifty years, John Stinton of Blairsville, seven children, Patricia and Richard Schmitgen of Myakka, Fla., John and Jarell Stinton of Palmetto, Fla., Tim and Janet Stinton of Parrish, Fla., James and Shari Stinton of Palmetto, Fla., Cindy and Randy Weaver of Clemmons, N.C.., Rob and Tammy Stinton of Palmetto, Fla., Curtis Stinton of Blairsville, two sisters, Martha Rhodes, Georgia Lee Beasley of Pensacola, Fla., five brothers, Bobby, Billy, Ed,and Ronnie Beasley all of Pensacola, Fla., and Ricky Beasley of Alabama, twenty grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Mrs. Stinton was on Sunday, Nov.11, 2007 from 2-4.p.m. from the Blairsville Church of God. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov.15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the First Baptist Church of Palmetto, in Palmetto, Fla., with Rev. Steve Pittman officiating. The grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment and graveside services will follow in the Gillett Cemetery in Palmetto.
