Appalachian Chamber Orchestra at Old Courthouse

The Appalachian Chamber Orchestra is happy to announce its 2007 Holiday Performance Schedule. Violins, Violas, Cellos and Bass will ring in your holiday season this year with special selections including "Ashokan Farewell", "Suite in G Major from Handel's Water Music" and the "Modal Suite" written by Dr. John Corina, Professor Emeritus from the University of Georgia. "Greensleeves" will introduce our Holiday specials, and you are invited to sing-along to "Angels We Have Heard On High," "Silent Night," and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Two performances are scheduled:

*November 30th at 7pm at the Old Courthouse on the Square, Blairsville, Ga.

*December 1st at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall of Dahlonega United Methodist Church.

We sincerely look forward to meeting each one of you at this year's holiday performance! Admission is free. Voluntary donations to the Union County Historical Society's maintenance fund are always welcomed and appreciated.
