Evelyn B.Schlienger

Mrs. Evelyn B.Schlienger, 88, of Blairsville, Ga., formerly of Lake Placid, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Schlienger was born July 13, 1919 in Racine, Wis., the daughter of the late Abraham and Emma Freitag. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Schlienger and a daughter, Karen Hillman. She loved children, flowers and animals. We will love and miss her always. Mrs. Schlienger was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lake Placid.

Surviving Mrs. Schlienger are sons and daughters-in-law, James and Rhonda Schlienger of

Blairsville, Jeffery and Leslie Schlienger of Plantation, Fla., Louis and Lorraine Schlienger of Vineland, N.J.; daughter, Beverly Schlienger of Vineland, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; many beloved great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Humane Society in Mrs. Schlienger's memory.
