Rinske Deenik Richter
Mrs. Richter was born Aug. 12, 1933 in Hilversum, the Netherlands, the daughter of the late Jan Deenik and the late Rinske Wielinga Deenik. She had taught Bible Study, and was a member and past President of Women In The Church. She was very active in the Church and truly loved her Lord. Her hobbies included being a Master Gardener, sewing, people over for dinner and visits. She loved people and had made friends all over the world. She had a law degree from the Free University of Amsterdam, graduating in 1955. She and her husband were active in Mission work in Indonesia. She was preceded in death by sisters, Wop Kolkman, Emmy Legemaat, Diny Kamminga, Mieke Wassenaar; brothers, Jan Deenik and Luc Deenik. Mrs. Richter was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Murphy. Surviving Mrs. Richter is her loving husband of 52 years, Simon Richter of Blairsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Simon Richter and Tina Muller of Wyndmoor, Pa., Nicholas and Sondra Richter of Hamilton, Canada; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Jose Ibarra of Woodstock, Ga.; sister, Betsy Knol; brother, Tony Deenik, both of the Netherlands; grandchildren, Douglas, Allie and Nicky Ibarra, Toby, Samuel and Marcus Richter; many other relatives and friends also survive. A private family graveside service was held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Meadow Hills Cemetery. A memorial service for family and friends was held at 3 p.m. from the Providence Presbyterian Church in Murphy with the Rev. James Conrad officiating. Special music was presented by Carol Deane. Pallbearers were Simon and Nicholas Richter, Catherine, Jose and Doug Ibarra and Carol Wade. Flowers are accepted or if you wish memorials may be made to the Providence Presbyterian Church for the Mission in Indonesia in Mrs. Richter's memory.
