Third person arrested in burglaries
By JOAN CROTHERS Sentinel Writer

Towns County Sheriff's Office Investigator Robert Kern released information that Denise Worley had been arrested Monday "as a party to the crime- Theft by Taking." She is the wife of Paul Henry Worley, who, along with Mark William Johnson, was arrested on September 17 for a string of burglaries in Union and Towns counties. A wide array of guns, jewelry, electronics, etc. were recovered at that time; however, some items had apparently been sold since they were missing at the time of the arrests.

"Mrs. Worley didn't stay in jail long," said Kern, "her mother posted a property bond for the $25,000 bail and she was out." The new Grand Jury that meets on January 14, 2008 will consider the case.
