Pumpkins wear many hats
DEBBIE WALKER Sentinel Writer
Pumpkins wear many hats this time of year, appearing in pies and soups as well as in centerpieces and outside decorations. They are just not for Halloween anymore.
Clean your pumpkins and of course save the seeds for roasting and toasting, with some sea salt sprinkled on, they make a healthy treat. Use any type of floral arrangements, from fall flowers to roses, use a floral foam as to not flood your table and be creative.
Also pumpkins can be used for serving salsas and dips at parties. small ones make great containers. Most of all this time of year is for reflection with family and friends, so make it simple.
