On Sunday, October 7, the children at St. Clare's were very involved in our Sunday worship service. Greeting the congregation upon arrival was Emily Galpin. Ushers were Macey Dyer and Brook Allen. Junior acolytes were Sean Duryea and Brook Allen. Ansley Dyer and Sean Duryea read the scripture lessons and sang a duet.
The aim of Children's Sabbath is to unite religious congregations of all faiths across the nation in common concern for children and common commitment to improving their lives and working for justice on their behalf.
St. Clare's parish sees our congregation celebration Children's Sabbath as an extension of our conscious efforts to affirm that our children are our church.
The Mountain Learning Child Care Center (MLCCC) is our parish's primary Outreach. A special offering is taken on this Sabbath and is used to purchase back-to-school supplies for the children at MLCCC.

If your children are not involved in a Sunday School, our children at St. Clare's warmly give an invitation to join ours at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We are located next door to the MLCCC on Ledford Road in Blairsville.
