Bloodmobile to visit Suches Festival

The LifeSouth bloodmobile will visit the Indian Summer Festival to host a blood drive on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7. Look for the bloodmobile at the Indian Summer Festival held at Woody Gap School in Suches, Ga., between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds or more, and have a photo I.D. All donors will receive a recognition item and a free cholesterol screening. "Residents can share their gift of life with others b giving blood," said Janice Latoza, district director for LifeSouth, "We greatly appreciate all donors who can take the time out of their busy schedules to make a donation."

LifeSouth is a nonprofit, volunteer blood center supplying more than 110 medical centers in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
