Concert & Cook-Out to Benefit S.A.F.E.

There will be a concert and cook-out on Saturday, October 6, at the Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville to benefit Support in Abusive Family Emergencies, Inc. The event will be held from noon until 5 p.m., and tickets are $15 each. Tickets for children 12 and under are $5 each. It will be a fun time for all, and will benefit victims of domestic abuse, child abuse and sexual abuse in our community.

There will be numerous door prizes during the event, including free lunches and dinners around town, gift cards, manicures, T-shirts, haircuts, and many others. There will also be raffle tickets for prizes such a two rounds of golf at Brasstown Valley Resort, weekend stay at a Copperhead Lodge cabin, and a membership to Copperhead Lodge. The concert will be held at the outdoor amphitheatre at Copperhead Lodge.

Proceeds from this event will benefit S.A.F.E., which serves to be the primary voice for advocacy and empowerment for those victims involved in domestic abuse, child abuse and sexual abuse in Towns and UnionCounties. S.A.F.E. is the state certified domestic violence and sexual assault program serving Towns and Union Counties, and is a certified member of the Children's Advocacy Centers in Georgia. Partial funding is received from the Georgia Department of Human Resources.
