Robert William Amacher

Mr.Robert William Amacher, 85, of Dean Gap Rd., Blairsville, Ga., died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Amacher was born Dec. 12, 1921 in Miami, Fla., the son of the late Herman Roy Amacher and the late Hilda Key Amacher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army of WWII. He had owned the English Ford and Studebaker Dealership in Elmira, N.Y. for many years. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Amacher, and a sister, Kathleen Amacher. Mr. Amacher was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving Mr. Amacher are sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Seiko Amacher of Charlotte, N.C., Joseph B. Amacher of Stuart, Fla., Gary and

Sharon Amacher of Zephyrhills,

Fla.; daughter, Dana Kay

Cassell of N.H.; sister,

Margarett Mace of

Enterprise, Ala.; five

grandchildren, several great grandchildren;

many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in Mr. Amacher's memory.
