UCB employees work to bag cancer

United Community Bank employees, Sharon Arnold and Shannon Foster, bagged groceries at the Blairsville Bi-Lo on Saturday, September 1st to raise funds for the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk.

Sharon and Shannon raised a total of $661 in tips during their 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. shift. Both women will be walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk, October 12-14 in Atlanta … and both have reached their fundraising goal of $2,200.

Many thanks to Bi-Lo manager Brenda Reid for supporting the cause … and thank you to all the Bi-Lo customers who gave tips.
