James F. Leddon

Mr. James F. Leddon, 81, of Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday Aug. 15, 2007 following an extended illness.

Mr. Leddon was born Feb. 1, 1926 in Haines City, Fla., the son of the late Harvey Leddon and the late Margaret Lutrell Leddon. Jim was a graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and also was a veteran of the U.S. Navy of WWII. He married his wife Lillian in 1944. He has resided in Georgia since 1998. Jim was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Jim is his wife, Lillian Leddon of Blairsville; daughter, Joy Wing of Blairsville; son, David Leddon of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother and sister-in-law, George and Janelle Leddon of Orlando, Fla., nephew, George

Leddon Jr. of El Paso, Texas.

A memorial service was held Tuesday,

August 21, 2007 at 11

a.m. from the funeral home chapel with the

Rev. George Cline officiating.

Special music

was presented by Betty

Gurr. Interment was in

the Antioch Baptist

Church Cemetery. In lieu of

flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Leddon's memory.
