BI-LO continues to support S.A.F.E.

Support in Abusive Family Emergencies, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving Towns and Union Counties, received a donation of $1496.52 from BI-LO as a part of its "boostersplus" program. The fundraising program allows BI-LO shoppers to select a charity to receive one percent of the money they spend while using their BI-LO Bonuscard.

S.A.F.E. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing domestic violence and sexual abuse intervention services in Towns and Union Counties. Donations such as those received from BI-LO help provide support, advocacy and emergency shelter for victims of domestic abuse, child abuse or sexual abuse, regardless of gender.

Supporting S.A.F.E. through the BI-LO boostersplus program is easy and does not cost anything to join. Shoppers just need to fill out a short application for a Bonuscard while visiting the Blairsville store. Then they may request S.A.F.E. as their fundraising benefactor. For those who already have a Bonuscard, simply ask the cashier to have the enrollment form for S.A.F.E. scanned to your card. Each time you use your Bonuscard, the name of the charity you support will appear on your grocery receipt. Each August, Bonuscards must be re-scanned to apply towards your charity of choice.
