Corny Cheese Dip

This is a recipe from Lynn Drost of Blairsville. Her son, Alex, played the part of Friedrich, one of the Von Trapp children in the recent production of The Sound of Music" performed by the Licklog Players. Alex has been in many plays around the area including "The Music Man", "Guys and Dolls", "Bugsy Malone" and the more recent 2005 production of "A Christmas Carol". Her son Chris was helpful as a stage manager and also one of the little boys as a contestant at the Salzburg Music Festival. The family lives in Blairsville, where they moved from the Atlanta area fourteen years ago.

This dip is delicious. Everyone loved it when Lynn brought it to the cast party.

Corny Cheese Dip

2 cans Del Monte Mexican corn, drained
2 green onions, chopped
3 cups grated sharp cheese
8 ounces sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Mix and chill for several hours.
