Gerald L. Dunkleberger

Mr. Gerald L. Dunkleberger, 81, of Davenport Mtn., Blairsville, Ga., formerly of West Palm Beach, Fla., died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 in the Murphy Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Dunkleberger was born July 17, 1926 in Kosciusko County, Ind., the son of the late Lawrence and Wreatha Dunkleberger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army of WWII and had received the Army of Occupation Medal Germany, the EuropeanAfrican Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon w/1 Bronze Battle Star Victory Medal and Two Overseas Service Bars. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Jordan, in Aug.2006.

Surviving Mr. Dunkleberger are a friend, Sylvia Davenport and

family of Blairsville, a friend,

Norman Cross of

Blairsville, several nieces,

nephews, gerald's many

musician friends; many other relatives and

friends also survive.

Visitation will be

held on Monday August

13, 2007 from the funeral

home from 6-9 p.m.

Graveside services will be

held on Thursday Aug.16,2007 at 2 p.m. from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton,GA.with Military Honors.
