The Society has a tollfree number that you may call, and an operator will put you in touch with local volunteers that give cancer patients without personal transportation rides to and from their cancer treatment sessions. Important New Flash - UGHA Book Sale

With the temperatures hovering in the upper 90's I guess I can't honestly say "fall is in the air" but I can say "it is just around the corner" and you do know what that means, don't ya?? Exactly! The Union General Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting their annual fall book sale. (Just a hint, it's in October)

We would like for you to go through your attic, your basement, your garage, your junk room and pull out all of those books that you have been meaning to donate to us anyway but just got side-tracked. We need everything to offer a wide selection at our sale, well everything that is except encyclopedias and magazines and old textbooks. Everything else is fair game. You may drop off your gently used books to either Union General Hospital or to Union County Nursing Home. If you have any questions call Chairpersons Mary Vickery at 706-745-0095 or Linda Garrett, 706-835-2488. Thank you in advance for your continued support of your local hospital auxiliary.
