Blairsville School of Dance to Perform at Enchanted Evening on the Square

The competition clogging group at Blairsville School of Dance, the Highland Precision Cloggers (HPC), will be performing at the Enchanted Evening on the Square in Hiawassee on Saturday, August 25.

In addition to performing their award-winning Hoedown routine, four members of the group will also be giving a sneak preview to the upcoming competition season.

They will be performing a new Standing Line routine that will be used at the group's upcoming competition in Greenville, S.C. on November 3.

HPC has already qualified for the National Showdown of Champions with three routines, and they hope to have two more ready for Greenville in an attempt to qualify those for the Showdown as well.

The Clogging Champions of America Showdown of Champions will be held in January in Knoxville, Tenn.

Blairsville School of Dance offers competitive and noncompetitive group and private classes in ballroom, Latin, clogging, hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, line dance, creative movement and more for ages 2-adult and the new Mommy and Me class for ages 6 months - 2 years.
